May 09 Concha Jareño workshop London

I travelled to London to take this super workshop with Concha.  Jareño She taught two pieces of repetoire from her show Algo. It is a really beautiful, unique style. Very different from the traditional approach.  My classical & contempoary background in dance really helped me enjoy learning this style with ease. The course finished with Noche de Feria, where we were treated to live flamenco performance from Concha,  Tango Fever, and Jam with Ruben Perez and Pablo Dominguez & company. view more pics It was also a great opportunity to network and make new friends.  I really had a lot of fun!!! Thanks to Miriam director of Race & Rhythm for hosting.

Day of Dance Cultivate May 09
	Thanks to Martin and all at Cultivate for facilitating yet another fantastic day of dance. Despite the recession, Bank holiday and Rugby  a great number of people took to  the dance floor and tried all the wonderful workshops there were on offer. Joyce gave two workshops and both were full to the brim with joyful,  lively dancers. Well done to all! View pics here
